It is imagined that a junction station was built at Sellindge, which in real life never had a station, on the ex SECR main line between Ashford & Folkestone, with a branch line being built to serve Lympne and the western end of Folkestone racecourse.

The track plan of Sellindge is loosly based on Robertsbridge, with typical staggered platforms. The station building is based on Wye, with all the structures modelled on real buildings. A Kent Oasthouse and working Windmill add to the atmosphere.

'SELLINDGE' in Neumunster, Germany, March 2008.

'Sellindge' has been featured in ' Railway Modeller' magazine.

The layout is a continuous run, and measures 36 feet by 13 feet 6 inches, (10.97m x 4.11m).
It is 7mm finescale, and is viewed on three sides with a fiddle yard at the rear. The boards are 3 feet off the ground.

A wide variety of trains are run, from through expresses to pick up goods and the branch stopper. The station is fully signalled, and the road is set for each train before it can be run.
